The last couple of Star Wars-based games were pretty decent, including both Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. The only thing that fans really didn’t love was the recently launched Star Wars Battlefront Classic Collection from Aspyr Games. There is another very long-anticipated title from this franchise from Ubisoft, Star Wars Outlaws.
This title could be closer than you think; thanks to the South Korean rating board, this action-adventure game is just a couple of months away from being released. Outlaws will be the first Star Wars game developed by this company.
Ubisoft could launch Star Wars Outlaws in just a couple of months
Fans expect few games from Ubisoft, except Assassin’s Creed Red and the new Star Wars original IP. The company that has titles like Rainbow Six or Prince of Persia has not been at its best in the last couple of years, with titles that don’t really impress the critics or players. But there are some fans who still have some hopes for this company and future projects like Star Wars Outlaws. In 2021, the company revealed this title as one of its first non-EA-exclusive games. The former George Lucas franchise, which is now owned by Disney, is working on several titles with different companies, including Ubisoft.
Star Wars Outlaws protagonist Kay Vess is a thief who will try a very risky heist with her alien, adorable companion. Massive Entertainment is developing this game that will have very original mechanics that will not involve force or anything similar.
Star Wars Outlaws just got rated by a Korean ratings board which indicates that a release could indeed be pretty close.

For comparison:
Assassin's Creed Mirage
– rated on July 17

Star Wars Jedi Survivor

The South Korean rating board appears to have already rated Star Wars: Outlaws, according to X user JorRaptor. The user confirms this and draws a comparison with another Ubisoft game, highlighting the time it took for the rated title to launch.
There is hope in the universe for Star Wars Outlaws fans
JorRaptor made a list of other titles and how long it took for them to be released after the rating. Assassin’s Creed: Mirage was rated in July and ended up launching in October. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor was rated in January and launched in March; Division 2 was rated in January and released in March. The longest period of time was more than a little more than 100 days, so with this data, Star Wars Outlaws could be launched in May or June.
The setting of this title will fall between The Empire Strikes Back and The Return of the Jedi. You can explore the open-world game on foot or in your speeder. Apparently, one of the greatest accomplishments of this title will be how fast it passes from one location to another without even loading.
What are your thoughts about the possible Star Wars Outlaws?
