Charlie Cox’s Daredevil made a splashing debut in the MCU with his scene-stealing cameo in Spider-Man: No Way Home. His return to the character had been a dream for many fans who adored his Daredevil series on Netflix back in the day. The character is shaping up to be a very important element of the future of the MCU.
He is set to lead his own Disney+ series next year with Daredevil: Born Again, along with Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin. Recently, an exciting fan art was released that showed UFC fighter Conor McGregor as popular Daredevil nemesis Bullseye.
Conor McGregor Becomes Bullseye In Incredible Fan Art
Charlie Cox’s upcoming series Daredevil: Born Again has fans excited as the character will once again be shown in its full glory under Marvel Studios. The series recently got a major overhaul as a new showrunner and directors were hired to develop the material into a compelling and worthy successor to the Netflix iteration of the character.
Popular artist BossLogic created a fan art on Facebook that shows UFC legend Conor McGregor as Bullseye. Fans will remember that Bullseye was one of the antagonists in the final season of the Daredevil series made under Netflix at the time. The character was played by actor Wilson Bethel and now seeing the character reimagined through the lens of McGregor is an exciting prospect.
McGregor might be a great pick for the character if the MCU decides to integrate him into the future of their Daredevil story. He will be a convincing and formidable opponent against Cox’s Daredevil and it will also be an exciting opportunity for the UFC star to show off his incredible skills.
For now, McGregor recently announced his UFC comeback fight on X, revealing that he will be facing off against Michael Chandler. The much-anticipated face-off will take place on June 29, 2024, in Las Vegas.
Vincent D’Onofrio Is Really Excited With the New Additions on Daredevil: Born Again
Some while back, Moon Knight and Loki directors Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead were announced as the lead directors for Charlie Cox‘s Daredevil: Born Again. Vincent D’Onofrio who will be returning as Kingpin in the show shared his excitement about these talented additions to the show.
While speaking to Collider, the actor claimed that he and Cox are enjoying the process of filming the series and praised the directors for their work on Moon Knight and Loki. He also gave a shout-out to showrunner Dario Scardapane and his influence on the show. He said,
“We’re gonna start soon, hopefully sooner than later, and Charlie [Cox] and I feel like the right vibe is there. I mean, my favorite series so far have been Moon Knight and Loki, and we’ve got [Benson and Moorhead] as directors, and so that’s pretty lucky. And we’ve got Dario [Scardapane], who’s an incredible writer who wrote The Punisher. We’re in a very happy place right now.”
The show will also see the return of Jon Bernthal’s Punisher which will reunite him with Scardapane who wrote multiple episodes of The Punisher series. Daredevil: Born Again is expected to release on Disney+ sometime next year.
