This year saw the debut of numerous anime series, only a few of which were successful. Undead Unluck, which made its debut this year as well, has emerged as one of the most unexpected anime releases of 2023 despite a slow beginning. Additionally, an English dub of this series is scheduled for this month.
For those who prefer to watch it in English, it has been confirmed that this dub will be available on December 13. The story follows Fuuko and Andy’s shenanigans which is particularly interesting, because of their unusualness and out-of-the-box circumstances.
Along with the English dub release date, the series also revealed the cast of the English dub, which includes a well-known name. The cast of the English dub includes Amber Lee Conners, the English voice actress behind the voice of Mei Mei, a popular character from one of the biggest anime series Jujutsu Kaisen.
English Dub Casts of Undead Unluck
Undead Unluck is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yoshifumi Tozuka. Since January 2020, Shueisha has been serializing it in Weekly Shōnen Jump. In October 2023, an anime television series adaptation produced by David Production and TMS Entertainment made its premiere. An English dubbed version has also been announced for the series.
In advance of its debut on Hulu this week, Undead Unluck has released additional information about the project, including the cast of the English dubbing. Ben Balmaceda as Andy, Jackie Lastra as Fuko, Aleks Le as Shen, Daniel Walton as Void, and Amber Lee Connors as Gena are among the first actors to be added to the English dub voice cast, according to TMS Entertainment.

Among these names, the most famous name is probably Amber Lee Connors, who has been a voice artist for quite a long time. She is famously known for playing Mei Mei in Jujutsu Kaisen and now she will be making her presence felt in Undead Unluck.
Amber Lee Connors is Joining Undead Unluck
American voice actress, ADR director, and line producer Amber Lee Connors have done voices for video games and anime with English dubbing of Japanese works. In addition, Connors founded Sound Cadence Studios, a post-production company.
She is well-known for her roles as Mai Kawakami from Myriad Colours Phantom World, Akagi from Azur Lane, Ayano Hanasaki from Hanebado!, Pieck from Attack on Titan, Megakaryocyte from Cells at Work!, Mei Aihara from Citrus, and Furina / Focalors from Genshin Impact. She is also well known for her roles as Miki Kawai from A Silent Voice, Akane Hiyama from Love Tyrant, Yuri Shiraki from Lord of Vermilion: The Crimson King, and Miki Kawai from Alone.
Her most popular role is from Jujutsu Kaisen where she portrays Mei Mei, a grade 1 jujutsu sorcerer who only works for pay and is independent. Mei Mei was Suguru Geto’s and Satoru Gojo’s senpai when they were students at Jujutsu High.
