Not so long ago, Kate Middleton’s sudden disappearance shook the Internet. The British royal family became the hottest topic as people around the world wondered aloud what could have possibly resulted in the disappearance of the Princess of Wales. Later, it was revealed that she was undergoing abdominal surgery and her recent paparazzi picture has sent fans into a frenzy as they worry about her health.
Meghan Markle has had a tense and strained relationship with the royal family. However, Kate Middleton’s undergoing surgery has led to the Duchess of Sussex extending an olive branch to the family according to a royal expert.
Royal Expert Claims Meghan Markle is Trying to Make Peace with the Royal Family
Prince Harry’s marriage with Meghan Markle had caused a lot of tensions within the royal family due to various reasons. Things got worse in 2020 when they stepped down as working royals. This was followed by their tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey.
As if all of this had not turned the couple’s relations with the family sour enough, the 2022 Netflix series, Harry & Meghan, in which they voiced their opinions on the royal family, is thought to have damaged their relations beyond repair. Not to mention Prince Harry’s 2023 memoir, Spare, in which he details the various events of his life.
However, now with Prince Charles’ cancer diagnosis and Kate Middleton’s abdominal surgery, Meghan Markle seems to be coming around to fix their relationship with the royal family. Royal expert and author, Tom Quinn said:
“Meghan doesn’t want to go back to acting, but she’s terrified that if things are not patched up with the Royal Family Harry will cease to be a brand asset and brand Sussex will suffer, so she is putting out feelers now that both Kate and Charles are ill. Underneath the huge ego, Meghan is actually a kind person and she was shocked by Kate’s recent serious operation and Charles’ cancer diagnosis.”
It is good to know that Markle is making efforts to fix things amidst the royal family. The Duchess of Sussex is now actively working on building the Sussex brand for her and Prince Harry in the U.S.
Update Regarding Kate Middleton’s Health
Kate Middleton‘s last official public appearance was on Christmas Day as she was seen joining members of the royal family in walking to church in Sandringham, the royal family’s estate in Norfolk, England.
In mid-January, the Princess of Wales underwent abdominal surgery at the London Clinic, a hospital in London. She was hospitalized for two weeks. Thereafter, she continued her recovery at her family’s home in Windsor. The palace spokesperson put rumors to rest in a statement on HuffPost:
“Kensington Palace made it clear in January the timelines of the princess’ recovery and we’d only be providing significant updates. That guidance stands.”
On March 6, 2024, TMZ published images of Kate Middleton in was seen riding in the passenger seat on Monday in a vehicle that was being driven by her mother, Carole, near Windsor Castle in the UK. However, no British publications have published these images.
