Upon reflecting on the buildup for the upcoming match, which saw the two engaging in brutal brawls, leading to Knight getting arrested, the WWE Superstar stressed it has made things more interesting.

Blurring the Lines Between Kayfabe and Reality Has Added to Their Feud

It’s always enthralling to see the line between kayfabe and reality getting blurred. One of the most famous examples involves Triple H‘s 2009 feud with Randy Orton, which saw the former invading the latter’s house.

Similar was the case for Knight and Styles, as the former got arrested after inciting a brawl at the Phenomenal One’s property. But things didn’t stop there, as another brawl took place between the two at WrestleMania media day, and per Knight, their feud has benefited from these brawls.

He said (via Busted Open Radio),

“I did an interview last night and somebody was like, ‘Oh, this could be the sleeper match going into WrestleMania.’ I’m like, that to me feels like a problem. Shouldn’t be a sleeper, but you look at how star-studded this WrestleMania is and I kind of get it to a degree. But at the same time, I look at the last two weeks with what AJ and I have done, and I feel like we’ve actually all of a sudden got some eyes on us. I think between me going and getting arrested at his house, and last week with the whole security thing going on, I think we’ve picked up a little bit.”

With the two finally set to settle their differences in the two-night extravaganza, fans of Knight will hope there’s no gum around the arena this time.
