Is Madame Web‘s Reviews Setting Kraven the Hunter and Venom 3 for Failure?

Madame Web receives the same bad reviews as Morbius. This looks bad for Sony and could hurt its future movies. Kraven the Hunter is Sony’s next Marvel movie, so Madame Web‘s bad reputation might affect it.

Morbius and Madame Web are disliked by many. So, even though Kraven is popular, people might not want to trust Sony after these two failures.

Even if Kraven turns out to be good, people still may not watch due to Sony’s reputation. Venom 3 might have a better chance, but if Kraven fails too, Sony might not bounce back.

But, there are several reasons why Venom 3 and Kraven the Hunter might not face the same negative reception as Madame Web. Kraven is the first Sony Spider-Man Universe film to be rated R, with a trailer showing lots of bloody violence.

The mature and gory superhero movie could draw in audiences. Its popularity in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 game might also help at the box office.

Venom 3 also has the advantage of the success of the previous two films, which might help its image. Despite critics’ disapproval, audiences were drawn to these movies—mainly due to Tom Hardy‘s acting. Sony’s Marvel universe is struggling, but Kraven the Hunter could still turn things around after Madame Web‘s flop.
