Before Mark Wahlberg became famous, the actor was known as a rapper and went by the name of Marky Mark. Well, clearly his music career did not take off, while Eminem was making a name for himself with his iconic rap career.

In a resurfaced video, the two gentlemen were seen talking in an interview and Wahlberg seemed to be very angry. For whatever reason, the two gentlemen were dissing each other and it seems that jealousy might have been one of the factors in the feud between Eminem and Mark Wahlberg!

When Mark Wahlberg And Eminem Had An Angry Talk!

It was the year 1999 when Eminem decided to drop one of the most iconic albums of his career The Slim Shady LP. With a plethora of songs, the rapper was already getting fame, and on the other hand, Mark Wahlberg did not have much fame.

Before 1999, Wahlberg had only found fame by portraying the role of Mickey in The Basketball Diaries. In a resurfaced interview that originally aired in 1999 (via X), Mark Wahlberg seemed angry at Eminem (for unknown reasons) and the two gentlemen engaged in some sly remarks on each other. The interview starts with Eminem stating “We’ll all just stand together like a happy fun bunch”. The rapper further continued,

“One day, maybe one day [on Eminem deciding to acting]. I’m trying to get where this guy is [pointing to Mark Wahlberg]. Soon, you know. I plan to do it. I want to do my thing with the music first though, establish myself first”.

When the interviewer asked Mark Wahlberg whether there were acting lessons necessary for actors and here’s what Wahlberg said in return,

“Ehh, I don’t, I don’t think it’s necessary, you know. You either do it or you don’t”

When the interviewer extended his hand to congratulate Eminem on the release of his album The Slim Shady LP, Wahlberg remarked:

“Oh, the albums out? Cool…cool”

Well, Wahlberg seems to have a bit of an ego (as claimed by himself) and that ego was hurt while making Uncharted alongside Tom Holland.

While shooting the 2022 film Uncharted, Mark Wahlberg revealed that he had a fight scene in the film. In an interview with Variety, the Ted actor revealed that the only thing that was hurt during his shooting was his ego!

“The biggest injury was my ego. [Gabrielle and I] became fast friends before we even started shooting, we got to spend quite a bit of time together. She was probably my favorite to work with in the film. But she’s the real deal, so you had to be very careful when shooting those scenes.”

Starring alongside Holland, the film received a rating of 6.3/10 on IMDB and an average of 40% on Rotten Tomatoes. We hope that Wahlberg reduces his pettiness and doesn’t get into these fights with other people. Uncharted is available to stream on Hulu in the U.S.
