In The Fall Guy, Gosling takes on the role of an ageing stunt performer. The movie reportedly includes several action sequences that push the boundaries of practical stunts. Gosling was reportedly taken aback by one of these sequences and voiced his regret regarding the lack of recognition for the stunt community in Hollywood.

As revealed by a video from Variety, Ryan Gosling emphasized the significance of acknowledging stunt doubles while talking about his film The Fall Guy. He made it clear he will not let stunt doubles remain in the dark any more.

“There’s this sort of accepted dynamic where they come on set, they do all the cool stuff, they risk everything, and then they disappear into the shadows, and we all pretend as though they were never there…Well, that ends today!”
