The Marvel Cinematic Universe is gearing up for its next super exciting project, Secret Invasion. It is a miniseries based on the Marvel Comics storyline of the same name. Fans of MCU projects are eagerly waiting for the series as it marks the MCU debut of the Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke. The actress will be sharing the screen space with some previous, as well as some new faces in the upcoming live-action series.
Ahead of the airing of the show, actor Ben Mendelsohn was full of praises for his co-star and on-screen daughter, Emilia Clarke.

In the upcoming MCU series, Clarke will be seen in the role of Talos daughter, G’iah. Talos actor Ben Mendelsohn can’t get enough of the Game Of Thrones star and called her a fantastic actress.
He shared,
“People won’t understand how much she brought [to the role] just when we were doing rehearsals. Thinking in ways I’d never think of. We were able to do very difficult scenes because of what a fantastic actress she is.”

“One of the great gifts, for me on this was having this fabulous person and fabulous actor come in and inhabit Talos’ daughter, and just be able to bring that whole dimension to it. People haven’t seen it, so, you know, you ain’t getting nothing from me, right? But we do deal a lot more with what’s going on. I mean, one spoiler. I will give you. There is an invasion in the show, right? It is a secret. That’s the other part of it. But getting to deal with the rifts, the fault lines of that invasion, we get to explore different starts to that. But this gangster here.”
Emilia Clarke also chimed in,
“We had a good time. We had such a good time.”
The two actors seem to have formed a good rapport while working together for the mini-series.

The series focuses on the return of super spy Nick Fury as he tries to stop Skrull’s invasion, which has roots connected to powerful positions in various governments and organizations across the planet.
Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) teams up with Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders), Everett Ross (Martin Freeman), and Talos (Ben Mendelsohn) to prevent Skrull’s invasion of Earth. The newcomers to the series include Emilia Clarke, Olivia Colman, and Kingsley Ben-Adir.
Secret Invasion will air on Disney+ on Wednesday, June 21st.
