In a fiery speech at Arizona State University, Johnny Depp didn’t hold back and even gave a spot-on impersonation of the former US president. Even though Johnny Depp took on the role of Donald Trump in a lengthy Funny or Die spoof, he wasn’t done speaking about the politician.

Johnny Depp Called Donald Trump a Bully
In his comments, Johnny Depp suggested that his approach to portraying Donald Trump wasn’t solely based on wealth or privileged upbringing. He emphasized observing certain qualities within Trump, particularly a sense of artificiality and a tendency toward bullying, labeling him a “brat.”
Depp said (via Variety):
“It’s not just about being a rich kid or anything like that. I approached Donald Trump as what you kind of see in him when you really watch him. There’s a pretense. There’s something created about him in the sense of bullydom. But what he is, I believe, is a brat.”
In his remarks, Johnny Depp highlighted the peculiar direction that Trump’s speeches often take. Drawing a comparison to past presidential rhetoric, he humorously contrasted Reagan’s famous “Mr. Gorbachev, tear down that wall!” with Trump’s ambitious yet contentious plan to build a wall and have Mexico foot the bill.
Depp is just one of many celebrities who have voiced their opposition to Trump. In the past, Louis C.K. likened Trump to Hitler, labeling him an “insane bigot.”
