With the launch, Cyberpunk 2077 reaches its final adventure, as Phantom Liberty is the only and final expansion of the base game released in 2020. This is according to CD Projekt Red, which has already released other smaller packs of correction.

The original release was severely hampered by the rush imposed on the employees who worked on developing Night City in all its depth, and did not have time to finish it.

Phantom Liberty will unlock the entire new district of Dogtown with new missions, characters, and abilities.

It has indeed been a long journey to get here, before the release, CD Projekt Red was on a great streak after the highly praised The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

This title raised expectations for the next project, but the pandemic changed the work scenario and put developers at home, which made completion more challenging.

The executives who controlled development from above aimed mainly for profit and rushed the title to be released quickly, without further delays, and without care in development.

The obvious result was a game delivered with several flaws that were rightly criticized, which threw all the marketing effort and even the breath-taking Keanu Reeves, down the drain.

Now, in its last breath, Cyberpunk 2077 arrives with the Phantom Liberty DLC, which promises to revitalize and improve this entire universe. It is now up to CD Projekt Red to deliver a good job to start winning back the hearts of the video game community.
