The Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton (aka Catherine), has been one of the hottest topics of the town lately. Ever since the public failed to see her get back to the royal engagements after the holidays, she got under massive speculation. This eventually led to the palace announcing that the Princess had undergone a planned abdominal surgery and was recovering from the same.
While this news came out in the middle of January, it kept the public at bay for quite some time. But when more than two weeks had passed, the public’s interest grew once again in the royal matter, leading to wild conspiracy theories popping up about the Princess. However, now, finally, the palace has released a statement regarding Kate Middleton’s health, shutting down all these rumors.
Kensington Palace Releases Updates on Kate Middleton’s Health
While everything was going well with the initial statement released by Kensington Palace about the Princess of Wales’ health condition, Prince William unexpectedly pulling out of the royal Thanksgiving Service ceremony for King Constantine of Greece at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle on the 27th of February made the public became more restless than ever.
This led to them sparking wild conspiracy theories about Kate Middleton and her health, with some even going so far as hilariously alleging the Princess to be a “runaway princess.” But after much speculation, the palace has finally released a rare statement about the Princess’ health, shutting down all such wild theories.
As of the recent reports, the Princess of Wales is completing her recovery at her home. According to PEOPLE, one of Princess Kate’s spokespersons shared that the Princess is “doing well,” along with releasing this statement in public:
“We were very clear from the outset that the Princess of Wales was out until after Easter and Kensington Palace would only be providing updates when something was significant.”
Since Kate Middleton revealed her wish for her personal medical information to “remain private” unless “there is significant new information to share” in the initial statement released back in January 2024, this new statement only makes sense and has once again put her fans and the general public at ease.
Other Reports that Hinted at Kate Middleton’s Promising Recovery
As Kate Middleton’s absence sparked serious speculation and concern among the public regarding her health, Prince William’s returning back to his fulfill royal duties this month has further calmed down the public and made them realize that things are not as bad as they may have been dreading.
Then there were further reports from PEOPLE, which revealed a friend of Prince William claiming that the Prince “is coping remarkably well considering his wife had surgery and he only found out his father’s news recently.”
Moreover, Princess Kate herself showed a promising sign of “recovering well” earlier this month as she traveled to Anmer Hall, i.e., her and her husband Prince William’s home on the Sandringham estate in Norfolk, while the pair’s children were on a school break. As reported by the Daily Mail:
“She was looking forward to a change of scene and will be able to take it easy in Norfolk while the children let off steam with William.”
Because of all of these reports and official statements, the public is now more at ease regarding their concerns over Kate Middleton. As for when Princess Kate will return to fulfill her royal commitments, it just might be delayed until after Easter, as per the palace’s initial statement.
