Gege Akutami’s Jujutsu Kaisen has been shaking the anime and manga industry with one of the greatest storylines the world has ever seen. The recent chapters saw the epic battle between Sukuna and Yuta Okkotsu as Yuji tries to save Megumi. However, Yuta got seriously injured by one of Sukuna’s attacks which has put the sorcerers in a big problem.
Fans have been waiting for Jujutsu Kaisen’s chapter 252 which is scheduled to be released on March 3, 2024. The chapter will hold much importance as it will not only reveal the status of Yuta and Sukuna’s epic battle but will also show Maki Zenin fighting the King of the Curses. However, there seems to be a big problem with the chapter.
It was revealed that Jujutsu Kaisen’s creator has submitted a few panels with unfinished art which indicates that Akutami might not be well enough to complete the chapter. This has got fans worried about their condition as similar instances have happened with Akutami and other creators in the past.
Gege Akutami Submits Manga Panels With Unfinished Art
Jujutsu Kaisen’s fan account @GO_Jover which also shares spoilers and other details about the famous series and its creators recently revealed that Gege Akutami has submitted some unfinished manga panels for the upcoming chapter 252. He also revealed that this might be related to their health.
Although the spoilers have already surfaced on the internet, nothing officially has been revealed by the creators of Jujutsu Kaisen. The spoilers did reveal that Yuta is alive but may need medical attention and Maki Zenin is currently fighting Sukuna, and is driving the King of the Curses into a corner.
Similar instances have happened with other creators too. Eiichiro Oda, the manga creator of One Piece also suffered from health issues in the past, and because of it, he submitted an incomplete chapter 1098. He then apologized to his fans for submitting incomplete work and had to take a break from drawing the One Piece manga.
Fans Show Concern Over Gege Akutami’s Health
As the news hit the social media platform X(Formerly Twitter) fans started expressing their concerns regarding the health of the mangaka. Fans have stated that Akutami’s health matters the most and they should take a break if they are unwell.
This has happened once in the past during the Maki’s Zenin arc when they were unwell and rushed the story. After that, I had to take a hiatus for one month. While some fans genuinely believe that Akutami might not be well, some stated that Akutami’s health always deteriorates when they have to draw Maki’s panels.
who do we sacrifice for his well being?

I think he should take a month break again. If he overworks himself in this condition than at some point he'll be forced to rush things even more. If its for his health than he should take a break. https://t.co/b8OIfkvEBT

Overworking is a serious condition with manga creators as they forget to care about their health and focus on their work. It has been seen many times in the past with many mangakas who had to take a hiatus from their work to take care of their health and if Akutami is suffering from a similar condition, they need to take a break and come back with better health to complete the Jujutsu Kaisen story as it’s at one of the most interesting arcs right now.
You can watch Jujutsu Kaisen on Crunchyroll and read the manga on Viz Media.
