Similar instances have happened with other creators too. He then apologized to his fans for submitting incomplete work and had to take a break from drawing the One Piece manga.

This has happened once in the past during the Maki’s Zenin arc when they were unwell and rushed the story. After that, I had to take a hiatus for one month. While some fans genuinely believe that Akutami might not be well, some stated that Akutami’s health always deteriorates when they have to draw Maki’s panels.

Overworking is a serious condition with manga creators as they forget to care about their health and focus on their work. It has been seen many times in the past with many mangakas who had to take a hiatus from their work to take care of their health and if Akutami is suffering from a similar condition, they need to take a break and come back with better health to complete the Jujutsu Kaisen story as it’s at one of the most interesting arcs right now.
