The beef between Joe Rogan and Dwayne Johnson was finally somewhat squashed with a very awkward interview between the two during a recent podcast episode on November 15, 2023. And the UFC fighter Chael Sonnen had some things to say about that.
Rogan had previously made allegations suggesting that Johnson might have used steroids as part of his workout regimen, and The Rock has been accused of backstabbing Rogan during a controversy. However, they seemed to have settled their differences during their recent conversation, at least that is what it seemed apparently. Thus, Sonnen shared his take on the situation.
UFC Star Slammed Joe Rogan for Not Addressing the Rock Allegations He Made
Amidst recent headlines, the Hollywood star and ex-WWE champion, Dwayne Johnson, garnered attention for his recent conversations with Joe Rogan on a recent episode of the Joe Rogan Experience podcast.
And the MMA legend Chael Sonnen didn’t hold back, criticizing Rogan for what he perceived as a missed opportunity to address a significant issue, Johnson’s alleged steroid use, labeling their exchange as “awkward.” He said in a short clip he posted on his YouTube channel from his show Beyond the Fight,
“The Rock had a story that he was considering going into Pride. When you are a blatant steroid abuser, and you are sitting there juiced out of your mind, you are going to go to that one organization. It would have been a good time for Joe Rogan to give him the bump back, but he didn’t do it.”
On the other hand, The Rock is not too far out either, there have been allegations of him betraying Rogan amid a controversy involving the use of a racial slur.
The conversation left Sonnen questioning, “Why did you come join the Show?” as none of the pertinent issues were addressed during their interaction.

Joe Rogan not only entirely sidestepped the topic of steroids but also engaged in a casual workout session with The Rock before recording the episode. The Rock said on the podcast,
“That was a blast. Dude that was three hours,–You and me, we had a f*cking banging workout. Then we did the sauna, we did the cold plunge, we did the whole experience.”
He continued,
“We did the sauna again. The cold plunge man… that was great. And I love what you’re doing down here by the way with the boys. Getting them down here, giving them the opportunity to get after it, not only their craft, but to get in shape.”
Despite several missed chances, this episode was nothing short of epic. Fans thoroughly enjoyed the two polar opposite ends coming together during the interaction.
