Deadpool, on top of having a reputation for his obscure and dark sense of humor, is known for his regenerative abilities and immortality. This combination is nightmarish for many because not only is he annoying, but because he is annoying and does not die. One of the most beloved and powerful characters, Wolverine, who is also famously immortal, is known for not being the biggest fan of the Merc with The Mouth. This is quite the understatement considering his biggest fear is that he and Deadpool will be the only people alive at one point.

However, it would seem that Wolverine can rest easy as, although many think these two to be the only truly unkillable characters in Marvel Comics, this isn’t the case. There is one character who may be even more ‘unkillable’ than the two, Mr. Immortal, and this would make sense, considering his name.

Mr. Immortal May Give Deadpool And Wolverine A Run For Their Money

Deadpool, if we count out his tendency to irritate his opponents to death, is quite a powerful character. On top of having superhuman agility, speed, strength, reflexes, and durability, is also known for his resistance to possession, telepathy, and diseases. While these are a few of the things that make him as powerful as he is, the biggest aspect of his strength and power is the fact that his character cannot be killed. While this is simple on paper, there have been some versions in the comics that have showcased the demise of this character, and the same can be said for Wolverine, with the perfect example being from the live-action film, Logan.

In front of these, there is one character who is truly the most unkillable, Mr. Immortal. This character has managed to outlive even cosmic deities due to his ability to automatically resurrect and heal from any death he suffers. With this, the one thing Wolverine never has to worry about is being alone with Deadpool at the end of it all. Mr. Immortal will be right by their side.

Who Is Mr. Immortal?

Mr. Immortal, also known as Craig Hollis, discovered his immortality after he tried to commit suicide by throwing himself off a building, only to survive. After learning this, he decided to use his abilities for good, becoming a superhero. Over time, he helped form the Great Lakes Avengers with members like  Flatman, Doorman, and, Dinah Soar. This grabbed the attention of the real Avengers, who helped train them and eventually, the two teams teamed up together from time to time.

Being a known member of Homo Supreme, his biggest ability is that of his immortality and durability. On top of this, he is known for becoming extremely enraged, as a result of the pains of death and resurrection. It has also been said that Mr. Immortal is fated to see the end of the universe, which is something he would, perhaps, not do alone, as he would have Deadpool and Wolverine by his side.
