William Baldwin and Sharon Stone’s heated feud goes back to the 1990s before her startling claim of being pressured to sleep with the former to improve their on-screen chemistry in the 1993 erotic thriller movie, Sliver came to the surface. However, the former hasn’t kept quiet on this matter as he clapped back at those claims, adding that he too has a fair amount of dirt on her.
While their feud garners public interest, William Baldwin’s elder brother, Alec Baldwin, fights for his reputation over the on-set shooting death of Rust cinematographer Halyna Hutchins in 2021.
William Baldwin Claps Back at Sharon Stone’s Claims
The 61-year-old actor took to X to respond to Sliver co-star Sharon Stone‘s heated claims about the late producer, Robert Evans suggesting she sleep with her co-star for better on-screen chemistry.
He wrote,
“Not sure why Sharon Stone keep talking about me all these years later? Does she still have a crush on me or is she still hurt after all these years because I shunned her advances?”
William Baldwin added, “I have so much dirt on her it would make her head spin but I’ve kept quiet.”
He asserted that he had implored Evans to “allow me to choreograph the final s-x scene in the photo below so I wouldn’t have to kiss Sharon”.
He threatened the Basic Instinct actress to reveal kinky stories about his co-star.
“Wonder if I should write a book and tell the many, many disturbing, kinky, and unprofessional tales about Sharon? That might be fun.”
Back in her 2021 memoir, The Beauty of Living Twice, the 66-year-old actress wrote about a movie producer who suggested she sleep with her co-star. While she did not disclose the names in her memoir, she claimed on Louis Theroux’s podcast that Robert Evans, who passed away in 2019, made that remark.
“If I could sleep with Billy then we’d have chemistry on screen, and if I would just have s-x with him then that would save the movie.”
She further revealed to the host that she was under a lot of pressure for the movie to be a hit but performed below expectations at the box office. While the actor has openly threatened the actress to unravel her kinky stories in public, his older brother, Alec Baldwin currently faces a major issue.
Alec Baldwin Fights for His Reputation Over 2021 Fatal Shooting of Rust Cinematographer
Back in 2021, Alec Baldwin accidentally shot Rust film cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and director Joel Souza on set while rehearsing a scene. Hutchins died by a live round of Colt. 45 revolver which the Beetlejuice star was rehearsing with at the time.
The film’s armorer, Hannah Gutierrez, has been found guilty of involuntary manslaughter in a separate trial by jury. Eight days after the verdict, the actor’s lawyers urged for the dismissal of manslaughter charges against the Golden Globe awardee regarding the 2021 fatal shooting.
As per The New York Post, the lawyers said,
“Enough is enough. This is an abuse of the system and an abuse of an innocent person whose rights have been trampled to the extreme.”
They added that the prosecutors have “publicly dragged Baldwin through the cesspool created by their improprieties.” They added that the state withheld “substantial exculpatory and favorable evidence” from the grand jury.”
Whereas the actor has insisted that he did not pull the trigger. He faces two counts of manslaughter – one for negligent use of a firearm and the second one for failure to be careful enough with a firearm. His involuntary manslaughter trial is expected to start in July.
