The Malevelon Creek has been a hot topic among the Helldivers 2 community for quite some time now. The community is uniting to take over a planet in the game named the “Malevelon Creek.”
As players are figuring out their way through the latest offering from Arrowhead Studios, the Malevelon Creek is proving to be a hindrance. It is already being hyped beyond the makers themselves imagined.
What is Malevelon Creek in Helldivers 2?
For the unknown, Malevelon Creek is one of the five planets that reside in Helldivers 2‘s Severin Sector. The planet’s landscape is made up of lush jungles and wide ponds. However, it has gained attention for its extremely intense and difficult fighting.
Malevelon Creek exists in Automaton-controlled space which is being dubbed as “a battlefield straight from hell.” It has some of the toughest missions in the entire game since it involves the players fighting against the infamously horrible robotic forces. As of February 27, Malevelon Creek was entirely overrun by the Automatons.
The social media is flooded with posts calling on players to head back to Malevelon Creek. There is reportedly going to be a big assault which is designed to take the planet into Space Earth’s hands and end the discussions. These users are looking at March 16, 2024, to get all players to the planet and defeat the automatons once and for all.

And the fans seem to be pretty serious about reclaiming Malevelon Creek. So much so that they have also created special trailers and fan art. One such trailer was created by a YouTuber ‘TacoNightShenanigans’ who created a spectacular 4K trailer video titled “Take Back Malevelon Creek.”
Sharing the one minute and 27 seconds long video, the creator wrote,
“Our rivers of blood will flood out the automatons. Absolutely had a blast filming this one. Most footage was captured at insane resolutions, so my 4090 definitely got limit tested this week! Big thanks to all my guys in Mischief and Misfits. Join our discord!”
The video was so breathtaking that it even caught the attention of the Arrowhead CEO and Helldivers 2 Creative Director Johan Pilestedt. The CEO shared the YouTube video on his personal X handle saying,

The community seems to be serious when it comes to ending the Automaton’s reign on Malevelon Creek and liberating it forever. It must be noted that to date no planet in Helldivers 2 has been fully liberated overnight. It will indeed be interesting to see how the Take Back Malevelon Creek campaign moves further.
