It seems that Marvel ended up axing its own foot after what appears to be a disastrous chain of events. With Iron Man sacrificing his life during the events of Avengers: Endgame, the MCU has never been the same.

Marvel Studios’ Latest Update About Avengers: Secret Wars Backfired Quite Harshly!

In a recent update on X, the announcement was made that Avengers: Secret Wars will allegedly be cut in two parts. Much like what the Harry Potter franchise did with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I and II, the MCU film will follow suit. It might have been due to an excessive runtime or other reasons but fans thought the worst.

Taking to Twitter, people talked about how Marvel Studios had become a greedy corporation and that it was just a tactic to get more money from people. With two parts, the MCU could also have a brief period where they could create hype before dropping the final film which is a business tactic that is annoying to fans.

On the other hand, fans have been clamoring for Ghost Rider to appear again in a stand-alone film or even in the MCU! Veteran actor Nicolas Cage, who portrayed the role of Johnny Blaze in the films, has already made up his mind.

Nic Cage Will Not Be Appearing As Ghost Rider In The MCU!

The Ghost Rider films were underrated gems that were not great films but managed to do fairly well. With Nic Cage portraying the role of Johnny Blaze aka Ghost Rider in the two films, the world loved his portrayal. In an interview with Variety, Cage talked about whether he could appear in the MCU or not.

I don’t need to be in the MCU, I’m Nic Cage. I understand what the frustration is. I get it. But I think there’s plenty of room for everybody. I’m seeing movies like ‘Tár.’ I’m seeing all kinds of artistic and independently driven movies. I think there’s plenty of room for everybody.”

So, that’s that. As for now, nothing can be confirmed or denied regarding Avengers: Secret Wars being cut into two parts. All we know is that the Marvel film is set for a release date of 7 May 2027 in theaters across the U.S.
