The release date for WWE 2K24 is getting closer, and fans have been waiting to get their hands on it. The upcoming title will also include a 40 Years of WrestleMania edition, so fans can look forward to reliving some iconic matches. The roster for the game is also looking good, with several returning characters joined by a few surprise entries.
Among them, however, fans have noticed the absence of one superstar, leading to a lot of confusion, especially as the Showcase mode is filled with former WWE legends, so missing out on this particular superstar makes little to no sense, but that could still change before the game is out.
WWE 2K24 Showcase Matches Could Still Feature This Superstar
The Showcase matches for the upcoming 2K title look rather loaded with some iconic Wrestlemania matches for fans to relive from five decades of WWE. So far, 18 matches have been confirmed to be for the upcoming title out of 21, and fans hope one of those three matches features Triple H because the major superstar is missing from the list.

Triple H’s last Wrestlemania appearance was back in 2019, when he faced Batista in a No-Holds-Barred match to headline Wrestlemania 35. From the same event, there is a match on the list: the triple-threat match for WWE Raw and SmackDown Championships that was competed between Charlotte Flair vs. Ronda Rousey (Raw) vs. Becky Lynch.
Triple H has featured in some memorable matches in Wrestlemania history, all of which have the potential to be added to the Showcase list.
Triple H’s Other Memorable Wrestlemania Matches
The other iconic Wrestlemania matches Triple H has had over the years include his Wrestlemania 30 match-up against Daniel Bryan, which has long been a fan-favorite match.
Triple H also faced off against Undertaker in Wrestlemania 28. It was a Hell in a Cell match and involved Shawn Michaels as well, but it was eventually won by the Phenom and has remained one of the most memorable matches in Wrestlemania history.
One of these iconic matches featuring The Game could still be added, as three games are yet to be confirmed in the Showcase matches list. WWE 2K24 releases globally on March 8th.
