Helldivers 2 players are very happy on the PC and PlayStation 5. The game has delivered a very interesting new way of playing a PvE game. The same goes for Xbox fans with Starfield, an FPS experience that makes space exploration very fun and diverse. However, this new game could make both fandoms unite with its premise.
Jump Ship will immerse players in various missions through a Player-versus-Enemy (PvE) model, eliminating the need for lengthy cinematics and focusing directly on gameplay. Keepsake Games is developing this title and will make it available on Xbox, and Steam as early access.
PlayStation will have to wait; Jump Ship will only be available on PC and Xbox
In the last few months, players on every platform have found games that suit their tastes. Titles like Starfield or Helldivers 2 deliver good exclusives for both PlayStation and Xbox fans. Each of these games boasts a distinct style and gameplay mechanic. Thanks to the new studio Keepsake Games, Jump Ship is a future title that will mix the previously mentioned games into a unique action and space exploration experience.
Jump Ship offers a giant galaxy to explore in a co-op PvE model, where up to four players will board a ship and make missions to earn credits and improve their equipment. As the studio says, this is a mission-based game, and teamwork is crucial to survival. The squad will have to fix the ship, mount turrets, or do quick missions. The main goal is to ensure ship integrity and earn the best rewards with different missions.
A mix between Helldivers 2 and Starfield
This title will have the best missions to explore space, with enough freedom for players to enjoy. You will have a jetpack to explore every new part of the planet.
You will also have enhancements to make on the ship to ensure that pirates can’t destroy it so easily. One player will control the ship, while the others can make changes and improve all the equipment inside to make it secure in other battles.
According to Keepsake Games, you will only be able to make some ship improvements in the hangar, after which you can select your next mission and start a new adventure. Co-op will be key to surviving missions. This kind of feature is just like a mix between Starfield and Helldivers 2. Unfortunately, PlayStation players will have to wait to enjoy this game; Jump Ship will only be available on Steam and Xbox as Early Access.
Steam allows users to wishlist the game, but the studio has not yet confirmed its Early Access release date. Jump Ship has the potential to be a great co-op experience that could make players really on board with it.
The title is being developed on Unity, and it looks great. The potential is limitless; the studio will offer a unique space exploration and action experience that is drawing much attention.
