“People think we were picked to represent this product that already existed. Yo, y’all are dumb as hell. This is a ground-up, from the basement operation…I remember thinking, ‘Prime is so cool.’ You’re in your prime, you’re primed up. Short and sweet, PRIME. It sticks out”

He also laid out how he conceptualized the brand’s logo and how he impressed the higher-ups of the partnering company regarding his pitch for the brand and its potential.
