More often than not, the best and scariest horror films are the ones that do not rely on noisy interventions and jump scares, but the ones that send chills down the spine with their silent and internalized terror. Blunt, in an interview, looked back on the film’s impact and narrated an incident involving her daughter who was completely creeped out by the trailer which aired during Super Bowl Half time.

“She just walks in there and she goes,’Oh, that’s you Mommy’ and then in the bit where I scream at the end of the trailer, you could see her brain exploding… And then she never talked about it again”

Emily Blunt Is On A Break From Movies To Focus On Family

Behind the glitz and glamor, being a celebrity in Hollywood comes with its share of sacrifices, especially with regard to a star’s personal life. Emily Blunt, who was recently seen in Oppenheimer, has decided to prioritize herself and her family by taking a short break from her busy filming schedules. During promotions for Christopher Nolan’s magnum opus, Blunt got candid about facing mother’s guilt and recognizing the importance of spending time with her children during their formative years.

“It’s one of those things when people are like, ‘How do you balance it?’ I never feel like I’m doing it right, you know. But this year I’m not working. I worked quite a bit last year and my oldest baby is 9, so we’re in the last year of single digits. And I just need to be there for all of them for a good stretch. And I just felt that in my bones,”
