Fans do not seem to be getting enough of Dunkin’ Donuts and the company does not seem to be getting enough of ‘The DunKings’ Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, dressed in outrageously colored tracksuits decked in illustrations of donuts and crowns. Frankly speaking, no one is, considering how dope they look in those suits.

DunKin’s commercial for the 2024 Super Bowl features the Bostonian best friends and Hollywood stars Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, alongside NFL quarterback Tom Brady, with all of them dressed in similar tracksuits. If it is any consolation, Dunkin’ also dropped a drink name after the band ‘The DunKings’ comprising the three Bostonian legends.

In a 60-second Dunkin’ Donuts commercial, Ben Affleck enlists his best friend Matt Damon and 7-time Super Bowl winner Tom Brady as the members of his dream band. The addition of Brady to this band might be a little surprising since he is not from Boston, but spending twenty seasons with the New England Patriots established him as a Bostonian sporting legend so it was only fair that he was a part of the band.

Hilariously, this band is named ‘The DunKings’ as seen in this YouTube video. Despite being cautioned by rap star Jack Harlow, Ben Affleck barges into his spouse Jennifer Lopez’s recording studio. Even criticism from hitmaker J. Lo. and Fat Joe does not stop Affleck and his band from performing their first (and perhaps only) pop banger Don’t Dunk Away at My Heart.

After the performance, a disappointed and amused J. Lo. wastes no time in kicking her husband and his best friend out of the studio, allowing only Tom Brady to stay back. Out on the street, Affleck consoles an embarrassed Damon, saying: “Chill, they’re naming a drink after us.”

This drink, named after ‘The DunKings’, is reportedly (via Dunkin’ Donuts) the Gone Girl actor’s favorite. It is the classic iced coffee featuring vanilla flavoring with cream, topped with Sweet Cold Foam and cinnamon sugar.

Fans’ Reactions to Dunkin’s Repetitive Revival of This Viral Commercial

While it is true that Dunkin’ keeps reviving the Ben Affleck and Matt Damon starrer commercial, no one seems to be complaining as fans are more than happy to entertain this marketing strategy of the company. The ad has gone viral once again, even after weeks of its release.

In a reel posted on Instagram, after his mortifying encounter with J. Lo. who practically kicked the band out, Damon asked Affleck:

“You think they’ll let us come back to Boston after this?”

The Armageddon actor responds to him saying, “It’s debatable.” Fans are quite amused with this reel as they have expressed their opinions on it. Here is what some of them have commented:

“Those track suits will be the #1 Halloween costume of 2024”

“The hits just keep on coming. Brilliant campaign”

“The GOAT of Super Bowl commercials”

“You are our Boys! Of course you can always come home!!!”

“Best commercial and campaign. Nailed it!”

Fans had even gotten a chance to be a part of ‘The DunKings’ as the company put similar tracksuits on sale, and the fact that they were sold out in 20 minutes was telling of the fans’ love for their favorite Hollywood stars.
