Dwayne Johnson Challenges WWE Rules In New Social Media Post

In a shocking turn, Dwayne Johnson gruesomely assaulted Cody Rhodes backstage on the March 25 episode of Raw. The beatdown was showcased to WWE audiences where Johnson punched, kicked, and whipped Rhodes to a ‘bloody’ pulp. However, the Rock went against the norms and continued whipping Rhodes after he was told that the show had stopped airing.

Johnson put out a lengthy rant on social media challenging the WWE producers and criticizing their ‘bullsh*t’ rules, which he refuses to follow. He expressed his anger against corporate behavior of trying to control people like him, finally declaring that he would stand by his own rules and not theirs. He wrote on X,

“I hate constraints and bulls*it rules – and just because some @wwe producer says, “clear” (meaning, we are no longer live on the air and the show is over) that doesn’t mean I just stop whatever I’m doing and tell everyone great job. It fu*king pissed me off. I can’t shut my high emotions off just because a script says we’re done.

But even in this crazy fu*king world of pro wrestling – this is a microcosm of a larger issue I have with individuals, corporations & governments – telling us what we can or can’t do. You have to do it this way, you have to say it that way, or you’ll get cancelled. They create fear if you have a different perspective and don’t live by their rules. It’s their way, or no way. Fu*k that. I say it the way I want to say it. I do it the way I want to do it.”

The Rock is leaning in hard to his antagonistic avatar and is leaving a huge impact on fans who are divided by his actions (which is exactly his intention). His evil turn is set to culminate in WrestleMania XL’s tag team match where he and Roman Reigns will faceoff against Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins.
