“Zack deserves better”: Zack Snyder Attempts to Save ‘Blue Beetle’ From Nightmare Box Office Predictions Despite Humiliating Exit From DCU

Zack Snyder played a crucial role in building the DC Extended Universe. But some personal tragedies took a toll on him and the Justice League director was let go by the Studios. Now with James Gunn helming the projects for the newly created DCU, Snyder has come in support of the first superhero in the DCU, Blue Beetle.

Amidst a series of superhero flops in DC, including The Flash and Black Adam, which became colossal bombs, Snyder’s support becomes pivotal for the Studios and the new management.

Zack Snyder Excited To See Blue Beetle In Theatres

Zack Snyder shared his enthusiasm for the upcoming release of Blue Beetle on Twitter. The movie features the first Latina superhero, and the Man of Steel director is all in support of the representation of the community. Snyder’s tweet says:

The news coming in for the Angel Manual Soto-directed movie is not at all favorable to the DC Studios. With actors restricted to appear in press meets or social media promotions in the wake of the SAG-AFTRA strikes, Blue Beetle is predicted to open the US Box Office to a meager $12-$17 Million in its first week. At this time, the movie needs a good promotional campaign to achieve at least moderate success.

Moreover, Snyder’s support comes at a time when a segment of DCEU fans has boycotted movies since the Batman v. Superman director’s exit from the Universe. As some fans advocate for the revival of the ‘Snyderverse,’ the director’s promotion will serve as a saving grace for the DC studios.
