Fans were blown away by some mechanics that were from another level, like the ability to roll the dice with every key movement in the game, like in a D&D game. The combat system also achieved greatness because every player felt they could literally do anything they wanted with their character. The possibilities are infinite, but the creator of the game really wanted the studio to work on a key element that was very important.

In a recent interview with Vincke, the director of Baldur’s Gate 3, he talked about a lot of things that led to this game being a complete success. He mentioned what kind of work ethics the studio used; he said, “We put agency in cinematics at a level that hadn’t been done before, and we didn’t go out of the way trying to take shortcuts, although we did use a lot of tricks. But you can sense that the agency was real, I think. So that’s a massive reason.”

The cinematics of this title are amazing and diverse, with every new character and NPCs. He added, “We didn’t deviate from that, even if we were facing development problems.” The number of hours put into this were all worth it once fans saw the outstanding result for the quality of the dialogue experience within the journey of this game with countless NPCs and main characters.

Larian Studios and Vincke have already confirmed that a new IP is in development. He said that this has nothing to do with previous projects and is a whole new set of mechanics, gameplay, and more. The release date for this is likely to be many years in the future, but as with other titles, an Early Access version might become available sooner. At the moment, fans of this studio will have to wait to see what comes next.

I'm a big fan of movies and videogames in general. I really love Pokémon and Godzilla. One of my favorite games is The Last of Us, Part II. A compelling and well-written story is always welcome.
