Prime Video’s Fallout has been receiving largely positive reviews, along with critical praise for the performances in the series. Aaron Morten is one such face that the audience familiarized through the series. The actor plays the role of Maximus, an ally to Ella Purnell’s Lucy, in the series. Fans believe that Aaron Morten closely resembles disgraced actor Jonathan Majors and that he could replace Majors as the MCU’s Kang.
Disney fired Kang actor Majors following his guilty conviction on misdemeanor assault and harassment charges filed by his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari. Marvel is looking to recast the role, with Colman Domingo and Jon Boyega being some of the names thrown around for the role.
Marvel Fans Have Found Their Kang Replacement In Fallout Star Aaron Morten
Fallout is a faithful adaptation of the video game series of the same name and has done an amazing job in all its departments, including writing, production design, and performances. The series has already been renewed for a second season and all the stars, including Aaron Morten, are expected to return for the next season (via Deadline).
Morten’s Maximus is a squire, belonging to the Brotherhood of Steel, and accompanies Ella Purnell‘s Lucy in the search for her father. The character has its own mysterious past and agenda to settle, which will be unveiled in the series. However, fans are hoping that Morten could take on another role during his break from Fallout.
Fans on X have found him as a perfect replacement for Jonathan Majors as Kang in the MCU. One X account, @BossLogic, posted two pics of Morten and Majors side by side with the caption “Kang Variants”. Another fan commented that he looks like Majors and even more like a young Denzel Washington. Interestingly, Washington was also one of the fans’ top picks for the Kang replacement.
Several fans mentioned that they too thought the same after watching Fallout and found him a better replacement than other speculated actors. One fan even shared that they tagged Disney and Marvel in a post mentioning the same. Another commented that if Marvel couldn’t lock Colman Domingo, they should definitely give Morten a shot. He does look like Majors, but I think he looks even more like a young Denzel (moreso than John David haha).

Good replacement for Major

I was thinking that too.

This was my exact thought, I actually tagged marvel studios and Disney the other day saying why not use him as Kang from now on 💜💚

As soon as I saw him, I thought he looked like a younger Majors.
Also has a bit of a younger Denzel about him too around the Eyes.
If they can't lock Colman Domingo in then I'd give Aaron a shot.

Not only does Morten look similar to Majors, but he is also almost the same age as Majors. The supervillain, Kang, is expected to appear next in the ensemble films, Avengers 5 and 6. Kang may also appear in the other Marvel movies that are currently in development.
