Kurt Angle is a huge fan of Marvel, particularly of Captain America. WWE stars are breaking into the superhero genre with Dave Bautista playing Drax, John Cena playing Peacemaker, and Dwayne Johnson playing Black Adam. Angle also wants to join this list of wrestlers and make his debut in the MCU. He had made many attempts to grab a role as he revealed in his podcast, The Kurt Angle Show.

I’ve tried many times. It’s not that easy. I ended up getting [Kevin Feige’s] contact information. I reached out to him and told him that I’d be interested in doing a Marvel movie, and he actually responded to me, but nothing ever came of it.

I got it from my nephew-in-law, Jon Bernthal. He actually gave me his contact information. So I talked to him, but unfortunately, nothing has occurred since then.

Angle may get his opportunity soon, as he has proved that he was obsessed with Marvel. In 2017, he posted a photo of him in his Captain America-inspired gear with Cap’s A logo on the chest (via Instagram). He has already starred in movies like Warrior and Pain & Gain.
