Villains or supervillains are the other half of a hero or a superhero. Completing the other for dominion of the city/country, moral obligations, or simply having fun, there have been fewer iconic villains compared to iconic heroes. Well, in these recent times, the villains have been getting their fair share of spotlights and truly, they are more fun than the heroes.
From the twisted minds of a psychopath to calls for a change in the world, these villains have often worked under the cover of darkness. Then there are some villains who do not seem to care about the time of a crime. And these villains are the true ones that people seem to be afraid of.
With villains like DC’s Joker and Marvel’s Thanos making a name for themselves in the movie world, there are a lot more villains in the comics who haven’t yet shined. Here is a list of 3 Marvel villains who can be as disturbing as DC’s Joker, if given a chance!
3) Marvel’s Carnage
People might know Carnage as a supervillain but what they do not realize is that the symbiotic parasite has had multiple hosts throughout the years. One of the most dangerous hosts that Carnage was attached to was serial killer Cletus Kasady. The first and the most infamous host of Carnage, Kasady enjoyed killing and that gave Carnage more power over its host.
Since Carnage was an offspring of Venom who also liked killing, Cletus Kasady and Carnage became unstoppable. The bloodlust made the duo incredibly erratic and one of the most terrifying villains of all time, making them #3 on this list. Carnage will most probably seen when Tom Hardy’s Venom 3 releases and maybe he might get to fight Spider-Man after all!
2) Sabretooth
Sabretooth has been an iconic character in Marvel comics and has often engaged in violent combats throughout the years. Having a bond with Wolverine, Sabretooth was a hero in the beginning who even helped Logan escape the circus.
It is in the later years that it is revealed to the world that Sabretooth is a killer. Oftentimes unable to stop himself because he might be enjoying too much, Sabretooth had to bury countless bodies simply because they were in his way. With abilities of healing factor, vicious claws, and greater agility, Sabretooth is the 2nd most dangerous villain in Marvel comics.
1) Red Skull
Helming the Nazi philosophy of world dominion, the Red Skull is Captain America’s villain and is quite good at it too. In the MCU, Hugo Weaving’s Red Skull hasn’t been portrayed to his full extent as seen in the comic books. Being a walking reminder of Nazism and the terrible things that humanity is capable of, Red Skull is quite a terrible villain.
Not because he has done some violent things or killed some people. But because he represents the old ways of violence. Surviving somehow in the end, Red Skull is simply a reminder of humans against humans and how humans are oftentimes…worse than supervillains!
