Homelander is the huge looming threat in the world of The Boys. He is feared by other characters of The Seven and members of The Boys due to his incredibly powerful abilities and his unpredictably intimidating behavior.
This has led to fans constantly comparing and contrasting him with other superheroes in other franchises like the MCU. Here are 4 Avengers, the supervillain would easily crush:
Captain America
Both Captain America and Homelander have similar origins that lead them to become what they are. Steve Rogers is injected with the supersoldier serum while Homelander is a product of experimentation with Compound V. But Homelander’s powers and abilities are incredibly superior to that of Captain America. But it would be a cool one to watch as Rogers is incredibly resilient.
Black Widow
This one is a no-brainer since Black Widow is a normal human being while Homelander is an indestructibly powerful supervillain. There is no way that the hardened superspy has a chance of defeating someone who is incredibly overpowered compared to the lack of it on her. Homelander can easily kill her without making any effort.
Hawkeye
Similar to Black Widow, the guy with the bow and arrow is no match for someone like Homelander. The sadistic supervillain will have a good time wreaking havoc on an individual that he can kill even in his sleep. Hawkeye should rather submit to Homelander even before the fight rather than make the mistake of challenging him to one.
Iron Man
Iron Man and Homelander would make an interesting showdown as both can fly and have powers of their own including laser rays, blasts, and bombs. But Tony Stark’s suit is prone to damage while Homelander’s invulnerability will limit the damage done by Iron Man’s powers and blasts. Homelander would easily tear apart the suit and kill Stark with immense pleasure.

Thor
Thor is The God of Thunder while Homelander is just a product of an experiment on Earth. Homelander is no doubt incredibly powerful but he will be no match for Thor’s godly powers. He has cosmic abilities and with Mjolnir and Stormbreaker, he will defeat the supervillain without much effort. But the showdown will be an interesting one to witness.
Scarlet Witch
Scarlet Witch may arguably be the most powerful Marvel character is literally a multiversal threat in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. With that level of reputation, there is no way that someone like Homelander (who is also powerful in his own way) can ever think of defeating her. Scarlet Witch is way too powerful for Homelander and she would easily crush him pretty hard.
Hulk
Hulk is one Avenger who gets increasingly powerful, the more angrier he gets. Homelander’s sadistic tendencies would only make Hulk more dangerous and deadly. Hulk is incredibly indestructible and Homelander’s laser rays wouldn’t do much damage. Hulk would tear him to pieces. This is one fight Homelander should rather submit to before it even starts.
Vision
Vision is an incredibly powerful android who has a varied set of abilities including super strength, flight, and the ability to manipulate density. Homelander’s laser rays would easily pass through him and no damage would be inflicted on him. It would be a comparably more interesting fight than other members of the Avengers but in the end, Vision would emerge victorious.
