This has resulted in a spark in the interest of those invested in her life. On top of recently revealing that she and her husband, Will Smith, have been privately separated for the last six years, the actress has also been in the public eye due to her, past relationship with the late rapper, Tupac Shakur.
The actress gave an interview, where she spoke about her relationship with the rapper, specifically the reason why it ended. She also talked about the definitive moment in their relationship, which involved Pinkett Smith asking Shakur to kiss her and them realizing that they lack physical chemistry.
Jada Pinkett Smith Asked Tupac Shakur to Kiss Her
Jada Pinkett Smith gave an interview with Steven Bartlett, on The Diary of a CEO podcast. Here, she spoke on many different subjects relating to her relationship with Tupac Shakur, including the reason why their relationship did not work out. The actress revealed that she and the rapper had a difficult time, trying to understand why they were not able to make things work between them. It seemed this made Pinkett Smith, extremely frustrated, so much so that she suddenly asked the rapper, one day on the porch of her house, to kiss her, out of the blue.
“Pac and I had a hard time understanding why we didn’t have it and I [remember]being on the back of porch of my house and we’re having this discussion I’m like ‘Okay Pac just kiss me.’” She Went on, “And he kisses me and it’s the most disgusting kiss between us both! I mean he pulled back and I pulled back and I was like ‘See dummy!’”
It seems that the actress is trying to prove a point and it works. The actress revealed that it was the most disgusting kiss. She remembered what happened, stating that this feeling was mutual and both she and Shakur pulled back immediately. Pinkett Smith then revealed that after this happened, she told him that this was the point that she was trying to make.
Jada Pinkett Smith And Tupac Shakur Did Not Have Physical Chemistry
The question that now arises, is what point was Jada Pinkett Smith trying to make to Tupac Shakur? The actress went on to tell this to The Diary of a CEO podcast, telling them that the reason for such a harsh assessment of her kiss, with the rapper is the fact that the two lacked physical chemistry. The actress revealed that even though they had an extremely deep and meaningful emotional connection with each other, loving being in the presence of each other, they were unable to possess the same passion and connection when it came to the physical aspects of their relationship.
“Throughout our relationship, we definitely had this beautiful closeness that was really intimate but never physically intimate.” She went on, “A lot of emotional intimacy, a lot of intellectual intimacy. We just knew how to reach each other in ways that were very difficult,” she added. “I think physical intimacy can really get in the way and I think that God just made it that way. God was like “No I got a plan and that’s not part of plan.”‘
She confessed, feeling a beautiful closeness between the two, however, it was never intimate enough for her, because of this reason. Even though they possessed a lot of emotional and intellectual intimacy, it could not compensate for the lack of meaningful physical intimacy, that is needed in any relationship. She then added that she is glad that she did not end up dating the actor, as something as big as this, can get in the way, and she did not believe that something like this was planned for her.
