During an exclusive interview with Ciak Magazine, Lawrence shared how she has adopted several acting methods to play her role, however, she revealed only one tip which she would rely on when she will portray her character.

“Sometimes it helps me to think about how another actor would play my character. Watching yourself from the outside is an essential key for every actor.”

Jennifer Lawrence continued that she would think that one person with whom she interacts in her day-to-day life would portray the role if it was given to him. However, she will not be sharing the name of that person, even if she would be tortured.

“I usually think about my character played by a particular person in my everyday life, a man whose name I wouldn’t tell you even if you tortured me.”

Jennifer Lawrence Answers Why She Never Went to An Acting School

The actress kindled an interest in acting when she was just a kid. And she started pursuing her dream of becoming an actress at a young age. However, the actress was not interested in learning the traditional way that too, in a limited number of classes. During an exclusive interview, Lawrence shared that she once went to an acting coach, who discouraged the actress from taking lessons, as they would make her “act like everybody else.”

“Nope, and that’s what everybody liked so much. [My acting] was just raw. I went to an acting coach, and he said, ‘Don’t ever go to an acting coach or class. If you go to an acting class, they’re going to make you just act like everybody else.’”

The actress’ acting prowess and dedication to playing her role have helped her in becoming one of the biggest names in the industry. And it is only fair to say that she has solidified her position as one of the most talented and praiseworthy actresses of this generation.
