Brie Larson had to lower her expectations for action scenes in Fast X

Although witnessing characters pulling off impossible tasks is now a common occurrence in the Fast and Furious movies, things are still a bit grounded in comparison to the Superhero genre. And considering that Brie Larson played the role of one of the strongest Avengers in the MCU, the actress had to lower her expectations regarding action sequences in Fast X. The Captain Marvel star explained her adjustment to filming more grounded action sequences by stating,

“I had to make an adjustment because really the only fight sequences I had done, I have extreme power. If I punch, then someone’s on a ratchet flying across the room. So I had to learn to temper my expectations with this one — to just go down. Like, don’t fly to outer space. I was like, ‘That’s weird.'”

Even though the power level of her character might not be on the same level as her MCU counterpart, that didn’t stop her from having an absolute blast while working on Fast X.
