It has been reported recently that James Gunn wants Ben Affleck to direct one of the DCU projects. The director shared that the Batman actor has really wanted to be a part of their “architecture team” and wants to direct one of the DCU projects. Although Gunn did not name any specific film, fans were quick to assume which project it would have been.
And a new report from Above the Line has also suggested something similar. According to the report, Affleck could direct DCU’s The Brave and The Bold. There is no doubt that the Argo star is a great director and fans are also excited about his take on the next Batman story in the DCU.
Although nothing is confirmed yet, fans have been very supportive of the idea and are curious about which DCU movie he would be working on. And they also have some expectations and suggestions for The Town star’s alleged DCU project.

Fans are now demanding the actor-filmmaker bring back Joe Manganiello’s Deathstroke from the 2017 DC film Justice League.
Fans also want the Gone Baby Gone director to introduce Japanese actor Hiroyuki Sanada as Ra’s al Ghul alongside the new Batman in The Brave and The Bold. Considering that Ben Affleck has played the Dark Knight for years, fans believe him with the upcoming Batman project.
