Conor McGregor Received Stern Warning When Interacting with Vladimir Putin

Conor McGregor and Vladimir Putin‘s meeting was captured by McGregor’s YouTube channel TheMacLife, where the two were seen having a brief talk. It was when the Irish mixed martial artist placed his arm on Putin’s shoulder to take a picture together.

That’s when one of the president’s security personnel stepped forward and warned the Notorious One. By getting the warning, McGregor’s facial expression was changed immediately. When the video was posted by @historyinmemes on X, fans couldn’t resist themselves from commenting hilariously. Check out some fan reactions:

Anyways, the pair took a picture where McGregor seemed posing decently while keeping his hands in front. He was visibly nervous for a few seconds. Before he went on his way, the president gave him a handshake and pat his back.

Conor McGregor is Grateful for Meeting Vladimir Putin

The UFC star later uploaded pictures of him and Putin on Instagram (via his X account) and described the president as “one of the greatest leaders of our time.” He posted:

“Today I was invited to the World Cup final as a guest of Russian President Vladimir Putin. This man is one of the greatest leaders of our time and I was honored to attend such a landmark event alongside him. Today was an honor for me Mr. Putin. Thank you and congratulations on an amazing World Cup.”

McGregor will be debuting in the upcoming action film, Road House—a remake of the 1989 cult classic of the same name. The movie also stars Jake Gyllenhaal as a former UFC middleweight.
