There has been a lot of rumor around the corner regarding the newest installment in the franchise, Call of Duty: Black Ops Gulf War. Treyarch has already shifted its focus to this title, leaving all the remaining Modern Warfare Zombies works to Sledgehammer Games. That means this game is going to get very special. But why’s that?
As per leaks and rumors, Call of Duty: Black Ops Gulf War is going to be an absolutely new experience for the fans. This game is going to be a lot different from other COD titles, as it will have overhauled movement mechanics as well as some other new features.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Gulf War Will Have Different Movement Mechanics
According to a reliable leaker, Black Ops Gulf War is not going to feel like the previous Modern Warfare titles.
I hope I don’t regret saying this but Black Ops Gulf War will not feel like Modern Warfare even though people are expecting it to 🤫

The main reason for this thought process might be the new movement mechanics. The newest addition to this long-hailed franchise is going to feature the best movement mechanics any COD title has ever offered.
Gulf War has been in development since the Cold War, which makes the game have the longest development cycle in the whole franchise.
Since everyone is talking about rebirth no one will see this, gulf war has the best movement of any cod to date 🫣

So, it’s quite understandable why the game is going to be different from the other titles in the series in terms of movement mechanics.
Is Call of Duty: Black Ops Gulf Going to Break the Loadout Meta?
So far, we have seen two slots in the loadouts in all the previous Call of Duty titles, one for an assault rifle and one for a pistol. But as per the latest leaks from a reliable insider, Gulf War is going to feature a ‘tertiary’ slot as well in the loadout. Now, what will be the use of it? As per the leaked in-game file images, this slot can be used to carry melee weapons, for example, a knife.
As previously mentioned, this will also help with movement speed. With the extra slot, players will be able to move with additional speed by emptying their hands. It will be quite predictable that if this feature is added to multiplayer in Gulf War, then it will surely come into Warzone as well.
Loadouts now come with a 3rd weapon slot being a knife in Black Ops Gulf War. I’m not sure if it’s changeable as all of the presets I have found use the knife as the tertiary weapon, but this is the first CoD to allow this I believe.#CoD2024 #BlackOpsGulfWar #BOGW pic.twitter.com/HHHB2xHVRc
