That is not Call of Duty. That is the first thought popping into the minds of fans after witnessing the trailer for Season 4 Reloaded. There’s a lot of green that goes in there and it’s not the kind of green people usually like. Not even Snoop Dogg, who has become a regular appearance in the shooter.
After fans saw the trailer that dropped just a few hours ago, they couldn’t stop themselves from comparing the game with another popular battle royale title, Fortnite. Concerning the state of the gaming industry being turbulent, if the state of Activision’s game stays like that, it might be confronting some serious issues soon.
Call of Duty Has Got ‘Green Light’ That No One’s Likely to Like

The trailer begins with a nuclear reactor blown into smithereens as a soldier watches. What follows next is covered in green radiated substance that’ll send some mutational impact which we might see as Season 4 Reloaded goes live.
Fans didn’t really like what happened to the game in there which again led them to compare Call of Duty with Fortnite. And it’s not just that, they even gave Soap the ability (or should we say mutated him) to go invincible, in essence, which makes him more like Reptile from Mortal Kombat than the skilled soldier we once saw in the game.
A user named Eirlooms noted the bubble shield that is essentially a feature showc in the Epic’s game.
This one user dubber Anthony suggested Sledgehammer to take over the game’s development.
WKEY RUSH believes they need to be their “OWN GAME” and not compete with Epic’s.
While fans may notice more details in the trailer, that jump Soap makes during the trailer is likely to take center stage in discussions given how generic it appears as far as the game’s standard is concerned.
It Appears Like They Are Something of a Fortnite Themselves

And it’s not just the Activision’s game that fans believe is becoming more and more like Epic’s battle royale. It’s the other way around too as the recent debate on social media platform X/Twitter goes. Epic Games announced last month that Fallout collaboration is on the way.
But it’s not that fans like these games ‘inspiring’ each other for collaborations. There are some that wants certain collabs to come into Call of Duty which Fortnite has already pulled. One of them being the Marvel characters, Wolverine and Deadpool. But Activision did manage to pull something ‘Groot-esque’ itself.
Activision has been focusing more on collaborations and bringing fancy skins into the game. Fans simply wants the fun experience that the game once was, may devs start thinking about visiting the roots.
