Emily in Paris is returning for Season 4 with not only one but two official release dates. This trend going on with Netflix splitting schedules is already getting on the nerves of fans. Amazon Prime’s Invincible started this with its second season, and now Netflix is following in its footsteps with a couple of its new and upcoming projects.
Meanwhile, there’s a lot in store for viewers in the fourth season of Emily in Paris. The globetrotting protagonist will be faced with a lot of dilemmas again involving love and romance, but she’s also going to find herself in a new destination: Rome.
Emily in Paris Season 4 Goes On A Roman Holiday
Series creator Darren Star shared via Tudum by Netflix what the audience can expect to see from Season 4 of Emily in Paris. As the previous season ended on a dramatic note, there are a lot of shocking events that will take place in the upcoming installment.
“Emily finds herself with a busy travel schedule in Season 4 of Emily in Paris. From the French Alps to the piazzas of Rome, viewers will vicariously experience amazing new locations through Emily’s eyes. Expect new characters, a lot more drama, romance, and a whole new language to try and master.”
Star previously discussed the complicated relationship between Lily Collins’ Emily Cooper and Lucas Bravo’s Gabriel.
“These are two characters who are star-crossed lovers. They have a lot of passion for one another. They have things that are getting in their way, but, at the same time, I feel like every season, in a strange kind of way, their relationship deepens.”
Collins gave some hints in a special video presented at the Tudum: A Global Fan Event in Brazil on the adventure her character will soon embark on in Season 4.
“While Emily’s heart will always remain true to Paris, her life takes some unexpected twists this season. Don’t be surprised to find her on a Roman holiday.”
Emily in Paris also features Camille Razat as Camille, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu as Sylvie Grateau, Ashley Park as Mindy Chen, Samuel Arnold as Julien, Bruno Gouery as Luc, Lucien Laviscount as Alfie, and William Abadie as Antoine Lambert.
Fans Aren’t Happy With Emily In Paris Season 4 Release Dates
Tudum by Netflix also announced the official release dates of Emily in Paris Season 4. As per the outlet, “the first batch of five episodes will debut Aug. 15, and the second half of the season will follow on Sept. 12.”
