Conor McGregor is the man who knows how to make a spectacle out of his mixed martial arts fights. Each of his fights is a joy to watch as he shows resilience combined perfectly with his aggression and fighting skills. Interestingly, it is not his fights that the fans enjoy to watch.
In reality, fans prefer watching his interviews for his Irish accent and silencing his opponents with incessant insults. However, his recent interview with Sports Illustrated has gone viral on the internet for all the wrong reasons. The Irishman was present with Jake Gyllenhaal, his Road House co-star. McGregor was asked what his co-star brought to the table.
He said,
“Jake’s a consumate professional, 75 movies made. You know, I was, I’m blessed to have entered into the movie alongside him, he was patient with me, he gave me guidance and I just took it. You know, we had a good rapport on set, he has 75 movies made, I have 75 bar fights made and that’s it we had a good back and forth.”
The 3-minute interview had gone viral, as Mystic Mac was speaking in a bizarre manner, where he constantly shrugged his shoulders.
Fans noticed how he was constantly slurring, and speculated a number of things about the former 2-division UFC Champion.
Fans Are Immensely Disappointed at Conor McGregor
As the recent interview was uploaded on YouTube, it did not take much time to viral on X, as the fighter was acting differently than what fans had seen. Moreover, he was constantly, blinking, shrugging, and had an incoherent speech, that made fans speculate that the former champion was either drunk or under the influence of illicit substances.
The fans were immensely aggrieved at the fighter, as they tweeted on the platform, expressing their concern as well as their disappointment on how he was throwing away his life.
