Now the disappointment might get bigger, as Avalanche Studios might have put their hands on another “cutting-edge AAA open-world game”. In the absence of any release news for Contraband, fans are not taking the news of this new title in a good way.

Recently, the studio rolled out a job posting on its website for the position of a Gameplay Animator for a new AAA title, first spotted by GEEKINOUT. According to the job description, candidates have to “bring to life characters controlled in the third person and idealize NPC movements, performances, and behaviors.”

Now, people can think this position might be for Contraband. But separate job postings for that game have already been put up there. So, it means the new AAA title is not this game; it’s something else.

Not only that, but there is also another job posting as well where the studio is seeking a Senior Producer. Now the interesting part is that, in the job description, “exciting new top AAA titles” is mentioned once again. The description also demanded the requirement of “having a passion for playing and making open-world action games.”
