Fans have waited for a bite of the pie that Marvel Studios is cooking with the threequel. The new plot details unravel some grand pictures featuring Reynolds Merc With a Mouth, Deadpool a.k.a. Wade Wilson.
Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman Might Change the History of MCU
Fans have followed the astounding hype created through the bits and pieces of the leaks and rumors of Deadpool 3. Hugh Jackman’s confirmed casting in the film and the leaked photos of him with Ryan Reynolds further teased the fact that Jackman’s Wolverine would have a much bigger role in the upcoming threequel.
Now, Marvel’s official Japan site has revealed a piece of unnerving synopsis detail that might alter the very perception of anticipating the movie. “That f*cking irresponsible hero Deadpool will change the history of the MCU with Wolverine,” the brief synopsis reads. “After facing some professional setbacks while going through a midlife crisis, Wade Wilson decides to officially retire Deadpool and becomes a used car salesman. But when his friends, family, and the whole world are at stake, Deadpool decides to bring his katanas out of retirement. Now, the newly revealed logline sheds light on the gravity of Wolverine’s role with Deadpool. If that’s the case, the mutants will have a big essence in the MCU with a multiversal time-space bound storyline.
It’s A Wrap, Deadpool 3 Director Confirmed
Deadpool 3 director Shawn Levy recently confirmed the completion of the principal photography of the movie. Taking to his Instagram, Levy shared two almost identical black-and-white photographs with Reynolds and Jackman. “Started with friendship. Ended with brotherhood,” Levy captioned alongside the release date of the movie.
While the movie is expected to be filled with astounding cameos and the return of several characters alongside the new additions, the movie will be more Deadpool and Wolverine-centric, Levy told Collider in an interview.
“You have two major movie stars together in a movie playing their most iconic signature roles – that is director heaven. So the story, the tone, the movie itself leans into that gift of having Deadpool and Wolverine co-starring in a movie for the first time. So, we’re definitely not running away from that.”

Of course, the leaked photos from the set are a clear indication of the Deadpool-Wolverine band with immaculate action on the table. Still, it’s too early to speculate what Marvel and Levy are actually cooking with the Loudmouth and the X-Men hero. Fans have to wait six more months, Deadpool 3 will hit the theaters on 26 July 2024.
