But that’s not all as the trailer featured a number of known faces in the film such as Lady Deathstrike and Emma Corrin as Cassandra Nova in the new trailer. Deadpool & Wolverine Fuels A New Theory Featuring Cassandra Nova and The Quantum Realm
The internet has been on its tiptoes, as Ryan Reynolds announced that a new trailer for Deadpool & Wolverine would drop in today. The trailer did not disappoint as it finally featured Hugh Jackman as Logan in the new trailer with Reynolds sharing the screen as Deadpool.
The internet is exploding with excitement as the 2-minute 38-second trailer did not disappoint as Wilson drags Logan in his MultiVerse adventure. The trailer looks action-packed as personalities clash in every clip. However, the trailer features an Easter egg showcasing Ant-Man’s helmet as Nova’s base.
But why is she using the superhero’s head as her base? A theory has surfaced, stating that the supervillain is using the head to gain access to the Quantum Realm. Since we all know that Ant-Man uses the Pym particles created originally by Hank Pym, therefore, a connection can be established where she is hiding there.
Moreover, we have learned that time travel is possible in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as it was featured in the 2019 film, Avengers: Endgame. Hence, it can be assumed that the TVA hired Deadpool, who dragged Wolverine to get hold of Nova. From there they got access to time travel and the MultiVerse as they jumped into an interdimensional portal, eventually becoming the Marvel Jesus.
Brand New Trailer for Deadpool & Wolverine Features Some Old and New Faces
Hold on to your chimichangas, the film features some of the old faces that fans have seen in the first two films. The film features Karan Soni as Dopinder, the most beloved mutant taxi driver, Morena Baccarin will also return as Vanessa, it also features Lewis Tan as Shutterstar, and Rob Delaney as Peter from the X-Force lineup.
The trailer also showcased Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, and Shioli Kutsuna as Yuki making their return to the film. While the trailer features the old faces that we know and love, Emma Corrin puts the limelight on herself, as she portrays the X-Men supervillain, Cassandra Nova.
One key thing that fans should notice is that Nova and Wolverine are from the same universe, therefore she has issues with Logan’s variant in the film. Both actors look visually stunning in the film, as Hugh Jackman portrays a comic book-accurate Logan, and in Ryan Renolds’ Deadpool’s words “I’m soaking wet,” as we all have been waiting for this moment for years.
Deadpool & Wolverine are set to premiere in theatres on 26 July 2024.
