The sheer amount of content that the PS2 era Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi series used to include was impressive for its time, as it achieved a level of detail that no other game based on an anime could do back in the day. Budokai Tenkaichi 3 came with different variations that Goku and the rest of the roster go through during the sagas in the show, and the cherry on top was that players could choose alternative outfits for the characters.

However, it was a limited feature that couldn’t reach its highest potential in 2007, but now that the possibilities are endless, Sparking Zero could take a page out of its predecessor’s book and build on what it used to offer.

Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero Could Give Each Character Unique Outfits

Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 even tried its hand with alternate costumes, but it was still in a limited capacity.

There are a lot of expectations that the Dragon Ball fandom has for the upcoming Budokai Tenkaichi installment, and chances are that not all of them will be met, but that’s not stopping fans from looking forward to unique features that couldn’t be included in previous titles.

Guys hear me out. What if they allow us to use every skin of Goku and the others to the most recent variants of them. Because this would be so Cool (Art made by Alienlina)

Although Goku is known for wearing his iconic orange and blue Gi throughout every major battle in Dragon Ball, he has rocked some other outfits in the series as well.

One of the standout fits that Earth’s greatest hero has worn was during the Cell Saga, after he teaches Gohan the ways of the Saiyan in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.

Accompanied by a white shirt and khakis, the Dragon Ball protagonist wears a black and orange jacket on top with the number 59 printed on the side, but unfortunately, playing with this Goku skin in previous Budokai Tenkaichi games was only possible through mods.

Which is why fans want Bandai Namco to let them “use every skin of Goku and the others to the most recent variants of them,” because that’d be pretty “cool.”

Other Z Fighters like Gohan have also worn different outfits, including the Great Saiyaman costume.

Other fans agreed that they would like to see different outfits on the roster as well, but even if they are not officially part of Sparking Zero, PC players should not worry too much because of the existence of mods.

As the Dragon Ball community looks forward to seeing outfits such as the Resurrection ‘F’ Vegito and Ultra Instinct Goku wearing the 59 Jacket, it remains to be seen what exactly Bandai Namco Entertainment has planned to include in the upcoming Sparking Zero.
