Recently, in an episode of her podcast, The Megyn Kelly Show, Megyn Kelly accused The Boys star Erin Moriarty of having an “addiction” to plastic surgery. Moriarty rose to fame when she was cast as Starlight in the Prime Video series The Boys. The actress stars alongside Jack Quaid, Karl Urban, Jensen Ackles, and Antony Starr in the dark comic superhero series. With that role, she brought worldwide recognition and fame.
Moriarty recently came under fire for her looks when Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly accused her of plastic surgery. Kelly accused Moriarty of having done plastic surgery on herself and even went as far as calling her mentally ill. To this accusation, Moriarty responded and blasted Kelly and now receives support from her The Boys co-star Jack Quaid.
How Erin Moriarty Slammed Megyn Kelly For the Vile Allegations?
The Boys star Erin Moriarty responded to Megyn Kelly after she accused her of having an “addiction” to plastic surgery. Erin Moriarty addressed the issue on Instagram,
“We’re all subject to levels of bullying throughout our lives, but I am horrified, and I felt that I deserved to take a second to address these things.”
She continued,
“To receive a message about a disgustingly false, counterproductive to the degree of being ironically misogynistic video of Megyn Kelly commenting on the manner — to learn the widespread nature of this has left me horrified.”
Moriarty mentioned that she would be deactivating her social media account. She concluded her statement with,
“Social media is a platform that is not representative of a whole person and, irregardless there is no excuse for the words that have been spoken directly to me, or about me. Shame on you Megyn Kelly. Shame on you, Fox News (Vought incarnate).”
On a Jan. 17 episode of The Megyn Kelly Show podcast, Megyn Kelly sat down with The Daily Wire’s Michael Knowles to talk about women’s obsession with plastic surgery and how it is a “social illness.”
