The concept of video games being made into movies and television series is not new, as that has been going on for several decades. However, generally, they have proven to be spectacular failures and have not been able to live up to the source material. That said, the Fallout TV series might change that perception, especially with Walton Goggins in it.
In case you didn’t know, Walton Goggins will portray the role of The Ghoul in the upcoming Fallout TV series, which will be airing on Amazon Prime Video. Naturally, fans are hoping the show will become a success.

Who Is Walton Goggins’ Character In The Fallout TV Series?
Walton Goggins will be portraying the character known as The Ghoul. According to Vanity Fair, the character is described as a bounty hunter with a complex background. In Fallout game lore, ghouls are mutated survivors of the nuclear holocaust, often depicted as somewhat faceless enemies and ‘cannon fodder.’ Amazon will be doing something very different with this iteration of The Ghoul.
However, The Ghoul in the TV series brings a more human and nuanced perspective to this demented character. Having lived for hundreds of years after radiation exposure, The Ghoul transforms from a father and husband named Cooper Howard into a ruthless yet honor-bound sharpshooter.
