Fallout: London is an ambitious mod by Team FOLON for Bethesda’s 2015 entry, Fallout 4. With the Fallout TV show premiering a day early on April 10th, 2024, the franchise has a massive fan following at the moment. Fallout: London is going to be the first time the franchise has set foot outside of the U.S.A. True to its moniker, the mod is set in post-apocalyptic London.
Team FOLON is a group of hobbyists and enthusiasts who have come together to recreate London with all its history and aesthetics along with the unmistakable nuclear spin on it. However, the much-anticipated mod is raising some questions among players regarding its availability on consoles. But due to the game being a mod of Fallout 4, it is going to be a PC exclusive.
Console Players are Set To Miss out on Fallout: London
It has been 6 years since Fallout 76 made its debut. Ever since the franchise has not put out any new games. Subsequently, fans had been expecting that the upcoming mod of Fallout 4 would be available to them. But, by the looks of it, they are in for disappointment as the mod is going to be exclusive to PCs.
With the release date fast approaching, players are ruing the fact that the game is not going to be available for consoles. Fans have started commenting and tagging Bethesda, asking for a console release of the mod.

While most fans felt it was unfair for console players to not get the game, one fan took their time to provide an explanation as to why the mod won’t be available for consoles. The fan said:
It's literally impossible to mod console games to this extent. It takes the entirely of FO4 and changes EVERYTHING into a completely different game. The only mods Consoles can do are little things that play with values in the game files, like removing carry weight.

While this is a valid explanation, it didn’t stop fans from ruing the chance of not being able to play Fallout: London on their consoles. Neil Newbon, of Baldur’s Gate fame, is also a part of the mod team.
Everything We Know About Fallout: London
Developed by Team FOLON, Fallout: London is not a creation of Bethesda. And this has aided the excitement regarding the game as fans have been wary of subpar games from Bethesda of late.
However, with amateurs and industry experts coming together for the mod, fans have set high expectations. The game will feature the famous Knights of the Round Table along with all the Parliamentary aristocrats.
To top it off there are also going to be revolutionaries to add to the complexity of the world. Anybody who is a fan of the city of London should definitely play the game as it embodies the rich history and aesthetics of the capital of Great Britain.
