Katie Holmes Plans on Writing a Book to Expose Tom Cruise?
According to reports, Tom Cruise pays around $40,000 in child support for his daughter, Suri Cruise. While the annual total comes to a staggering $480K, the number is not much for a superstar of Cruise’s caliber who remains one of the hottest and sought-after actors in Hollywood.
On the eighteenth of April 2024, Suri finally steps into adulthood as she will be turning eighteen. Her eighteenth birthday will mark the end of Cruise’s child support duties and neither Suri nor her mother Katie Holmes will be entitled to the $40,000. So, what’s next for Holmes?
A source told In Touch that Holmes and her daughter are in for an “uncertain future” as the child support comes to an end. The source added that in order to keep the money flowing in, the First Daughter actress is eagerly looking for roles and might even return to the industry full-time. They also stated that while the NDA between Cruise and Holmes will also perish soon, she just might end up writing a tell-all book about her relationship with Cruise and more.

According to Marca, Holmes has a net worth of $25 million whereas her ex-husband boasts an extremely high net worth of a whopping $600 million, 24 times that of Holmes’.
Katie Holmes’ Lawyer Denounces Financial Struggles
After the above-mentioned reports became public, everyone was naturally talking about Holmes’ apparent financial struggles. It looks like things got so out of hand that the actress’ lawyer had to speak out on her behalf.
Talking to Radar Online, Holmes’ lawyer, Jonathan W. Wolfe, shut down the rumors and set the record straight stating,
“The story is riddled with falsehoods. One would hope there would be more newsworthy items to cover, and publications would avoid reporting as ‘facts’ claims from anonymous sources peddling such obvious misrepresentations.”
Now, while it’s true that Holmes does not have an empire like that of Cruise, it does not mean that she is not doing well for herself and her daughter. As per Marca, Holmes made $4.2 million just for the last season of Dawson’s Creek alone. On top of that, Holmes has been active in the film industry over the past years including films like Rare Objects, Alone Together, and more.
