Recently, on the official X handle, popular industry insider Tom Warren shared the news of the Xbox Summer Showcase, followed by a Call of Duty direct. In this post, a fan expressed his wish for Gear 6 to be revealed at this event.

In this regard, Warren’s reply has sparked some real speculation. He has stated that, in this event, more than just Gears 6 will be shown.

However, this is not the first time that Gears of War 6 has been teased. The voice actor of JD Fenix, Liam McIntyre, has also teased us about the upcoming Gears of War installment. In a post by McIntyre, a fan asked about the death canon of the famous Gears of War character, JD Phenix.

Like 2023, this year Xbox will also follow the double format feature, where a dedicated Call of Duty Direct event will be held after the event. In this direct, “the next installment of a beloved franchise” will be shown.”

Last year, it was the Starfield Direct live stream, which happened after the Xbox Summer Showcase 2023. So, there are chances that the highly anticipated Call of Duty 2024, aka the Black Ops Gulf War, might get announced.
