Rockstar Games confirmed in February 2022 that Grand Theft Auto 6 was in production. With little glimpses from Red Dead Redemption 2, GTA 6’s graphics will be lightyears ahead of its predecessors. After the success of Red Dead Redemption 2, fans were getting impatient to know what Rockstar Games’ next project was and whether GTA 6 was coming or not.
GTA 5 was released a decade ago. So, it has been a long time since the fans got some car-stealing cheat code action. But in early 2022, Rockstar confirmed that GTA 6 was indeed in production. Since there have been no announcements since then, people are speculating on the game’s graphics based on leaks and fan-made trailers.
GTA 6 Will Have High-End Graphics
Rockstar has always given the fans what they wanted. Every game they make, they check every box to make sure that they have made a masterpiece. The story, gameplay, character designs, and most importantly, graphics. Every detail in Red Dead Redemption 2 was done with perfection. Even though it was released in 2018, it had much better graphics than the games of 2023.

With GTA 6, the graphics are only going to be better. It is said to be lightyears ahead of Red Dead Redemption 2 graphics. The RAGE engine has taken up the task of developing the high-end graphics of Grand Theft Auto 6. AI, rendering quality, the passage of time, etc., are a few of the aspects that the RAGE engine will take care of. Apart from the graphics, Rockstar will also focus on the physics.
Unreal Engine 5 was marvelous. It is only expected that the RAGE engine will be much better than that. Grand Theft Auto 6 is sure to blow us all away with the graphics. Let us hope that it does the same with the story, too.
More On Grand Theft Auto 6
The gaming community needs something to feed on to hold their excitement. For the moment, the only available thing surrounding GTA 6 is the viral leaks from last year. The developers mentioned that the leaks were from the actual game. Other than that, there has been no other news. Starting from the teaser and trailer to the release date, nothing has been announced.
At this moment, there is nothing but speculation surrounding Grand Theft Auto. It is believed to hit the gaming platforms in late 2024 or early 2025. Seeing the graphics of Red Dead Redemption 2 and the introduction of the RAGE engine, the gaming community is fastening their seat belts for another joy ride.
