One of the reasons why the Helldivers 2 community keeps growing is how Arrowhead pays attention to its feedback and implements the required changes into its game if they fit the lore. The developer constantly releases updates for its players in the hopes of fixing any issues that appear in the title, but it’s natural for some of the patches to make things worse in a live-service hit of this scale.
It’s unfortunate that the latest problem revolves around the mechs that recently made their way to Helldivers 2.
Helldivers 2 Players Are Facing New Issues With the Mechs
It’s been around a month since Arrowhead introduced the mechs in Helldivers 2, which was something that players had been asking for since the game was released, as it was an integral feature in the first installment. However, although the machines were supposed to aid the fight to protect Super Earth, they came with problems, which the developer quickly fixed before more gaming experiences could’ve been ruined.
MECH has been left in a broken state since the last “fix”

To put the mechs situation in Helldivers 2 into context, their inclusion was quite appreciated by the players because of their ability to even the odds against the Automatons, but before Arrowhead tried to fix them, there was a bug that resulted in the machines getting blown up by themselves due to an issue with their rockets.
To no one’s surprise, the developer came through for the Helldivers 2 community and released a patch that should’ve fixed the problem, which it did, but it led to something even more frustrating. The mechs are now more “broken” than ever, as the latest fix removes what made them “fun to use in the first place.” The mechs in Helldivers 2 may not be blowing up now, but their rocket calibration is reportedly worse than before.
The Mechs in Helldivers 2 Have Horrible Shot Accuracy Now
Because of the new problem that Helldivers 2 players are facing with the rocket projectiles, the mechs no longer have the level of accuracy that they used to, making it difficult to hit targets even in situations where they are perfectly aligned.
Perhaps this issue would not have been this irritating on its own, but when one considers the limited ammo of rockets that come with the machines, it is crucial to make every shot count.
The latest Helldivers 2 patch released by Arrowhead Game Studios is forcing gamers to fire multiple rockets at their enemies at once, hoping that at least one of them would hit, but this is something that the developer should definitely look into.
